Back in summer I did a little post called ‘My Favourite Summer Trend | Jazzy Pants’ which I loved talking about. You guys seemed to love the post too and enjoy seeing how I styled that trend. So I thought that I would talk about another seasonal trend and how I love to style it. This season is all about knits and layers and my favourite thing to wear this time of year- big fat granny kit cardigans!
The cardigan trend has been so huge these past couple of years at this time and I LOVE IT! The highstreet shops are stocking so many and you have such a plethora of choice. This one I have here is a personal favourite which I actually picked up in last years autumnal knit rush from H&M but I have linked below some very similar styles which may take your fancy.
My favourite thing about this cardy is that its so jazzy yet monochrome, which makes it a lot more wearable in my opinion. You can style it with my other colours and not worry about them clashing. Its such a thick material which is my fave because I am just such a cold blooded person (I swear I was a lizard in another life) so this keeps me nice a cosy. If you get easily hot then maybe stay clear of thicker cardigans or at least go with one that has a lot looser knit. That way the air can still get through a little.
The way in which I have style this cardy is with a plain grey tee that has a low V-neck. I am sure you all know my obsession with the colour grey and so its no surprise that I would style this cardigan in this way. I am also (of course) wearing a lovely comfy pair of black leggings. I love leggings in Autumn as they are so easy to wear and style with a big fat cardigan.
I realised how monochrome this outfit was so I decided to inject a bit of colour through my shoes. I have worn my pink Nikes which I am obsessed with! I love how comfy they are yet so cute! They really jazz up the outfit and make it so much less monochrome.
