I always love to wear a bit of makeup, but in the winter time I like to keep it simple. I find that otherwise my skin does not respond well and I have problems that could have easily been avoided. So this is the makeup that I like to wear throughout the winter months.
Loreal True Match Foundation- I love this foundation because it has a lovely medium to sheet coverage (depending on how you apply it) and feels so lovely on the skin. I don’t find flaking around my t-zone (something I struggle with) and I think it makes my skin feel so silky! Also, of course, it is such a good colour match to my skin and makes me look like I’m not wearing anything, while giving me a flawless finish!!
Mac Mineralise Skin Finis- my mum gave me this for Christmas and I am so in love with it!! Although it is just a simple powder, it is so long lasting and feels amazing on the skin!
Stila In the Moment Palette- I picked up this palette in the last couple of months and I am so impressed with it. I have heard of Stila palettes but I hadn’t tried one myself, but boy I should have!! The shadows are just so creamy and apply really nicely to the lids. They are long lasting and don’t fall when applying. I use these colours daily for my winter look!! Stila paint pot in metallic lilac- I only use this if I want a little more sparkle. It is a very very creamy shadow that looks so pretty and sparkly!! You do need to practise using this before you go out, however! Loreal’s super liner- oh my word the precision that this nib provides!! It is soooo blooming thin and allows me to try so many different liner looks! I loves it! Benefit roller lash- we all know this mascara. There are mixed reviews about it but personally, I love it! I think it gives a very fluttery but natural look and doesn’t make my lashes all crispy (beauty lovers, you get me?) so I love wearing this every day because it makes my lashes so pretty. DKNY pure perfume- this is my everyday perfume of choice because it is so fresh and such a lovely scent that lasts all day long! On of my favourites at the moments.
