My 4 Favourite Things In My Home

Even though I live in a rented space, I have made such a huge effort to make this little flat really feel like home. I’ve written many a blogpost about how to style your rented space, interior tips and styling sessions. But one thing I don’t think I have ever done is take a deep dive into my home and into my space to look and what my favourite features are – whether that’s a styling feature, a particular product or a room. So here ate my 4 favourite things in my flat that I couldn’t be without.

My Bag Shelves

You know guy that my faaaavourite room in the flat is my office because it’s full of all of my bags, shoes and favourite clothing bits. And my favourite, favourite feature in my office is my bag shelf. The most simple shelves from Ikea (the billy and half billy) but they look so elegant, pulled together and are such a focus point of my room. I get so much joy from arranging and rearranging my shelves, and we all know how important it is to celebrate the things that give you joy

My Cloud Pouffe

The most recent furniture addition is most definitely a favourite – my Cloud Pouffe from the Stringer Brother’s Upholster’s is just such an amazing feature of the living room and something that I always get compliments on whenever I have guests over. It’s such a gorgeous design while still being such a practical piece of usable furniture.

My Coffee Table Books

If (god forbid) my flat burnt down and I had to restart my interior collection, the thing that I would always start with hands down is my coffee table book collection. They are such a great multi-functional thing, while looking so beautiful and being such a great styling piece, it’s also so nice to curl up on a Sunday and tuck into one of the meaty reads.

My White Sofa

Everyone, EVERYONE told me not to get a white sofa. ‘It’ll mark’ they said, ‘it’s look gross’ they said. Oh how they were wrong. We opted for an Ikea sofa for many reasons, but one of which being the fact that you can wash the cushion covers. I repeat you can wash the cushion covers. So anytime we’ve had a spillage, an accident or a bit of fake tan start to show, straight in the wash they go. The sofa still looks so pristine and so gorgeous and I am SO glad I didn’t listen to what others said and instead went for something that I knew would bring me joy.
