There’s a summer trend this year that I am totally on board with; the peasant blouse. It’s just so perfect for summer time! Its light and cool and hides the one too many ice creams we may or may not have had. Fatface are so on the ball with this trend right now and have the most amazing collection of peasant blouses right now that I am obsessed with.
If you have already seen my Washed In Happiness blogpost, then you would have already had a peak at their new collection this summer. This is another section of the collection and I am so in love with it. The material that Fatface use is so high quality. I have taken these blouses with me on holiday and they are so light and airy that it keeps me as cool as this Turkish weather will allow.
This first blouse is PERFECT for a summer holiday abroad. The light material is just so perfect and the little spaghetti straps minimise strap lines. YAS. I love the pattern on it and find that it goes with so many different bottoms. The way that I am styling it is to tuck it into the Fatface fresh prints shorts. I love how this looks and feel so cool and confident walking around with this outfit abroad!
The next outfit was actually my travel outfit. Obviously you want to be as comfortable as possible when travelling, so I opted for my personal favourite, the Carly blouse. Its a long sleeved number, so it keeps me very warm on the plane journey. But its so incredibly light so its the most comfortable thing when you arrive in the hot country (although Britain is doing pretty well) so you aren’t peeling off your clothes from sweat when you arrive. I’ve styled this with an old favourite of mine, some Fatface jazzy pants. I am afraid that they are a part of the old collection, but I have linked a really cute pair from Fatface here. So you can check those out instead.
The last outfit I styled is one of my favourites. I have also taken this blouse on holiday with me and its a favourite! I used this to cover my shoulders to stop me from burning but it keeps me so cool as the material is so light. Its definitely a must for a holiday! I’ve styled it with the Artisan print trousers from the new collection but on holiday I am wearing it with shorts. You may notice that I like to tuck in my peasant blouses, ands that’s just my fave way of styling them. For taller girls I think they look gorgeous not tucked in, but for my short body, this is my fave way of styling!!
