If there’s one item in my home that I have been asked about time and time again it’s my sofa. And when people are met with the response that it’s from Ikea, they usually can’t believe their ears. So today I am answering some of my most asked questions about my Ikea Grondlid sofa.
Is it comfortable?
Yes. Very. I personally like a sofa that is soft and subtle but not too squishy, or else I feel like I’m being absorbed by the seat itself. This sofa is so comfortable to sit and relax in, whether you’ve got your feat up with a cup of coffee or are lounging in the evening on the chase long.
White? Does it mark?
I mean sure, it marks. But the best part of this sofa is the fact that you can wash the cushions. I repeat – you. can. wash. the. cushions.
LIFE SAVER.
I can’t tell you the amount of times a glass of wine has been split or some grubby fingers have marked the cushions. But we’ve never found ourselves in a situation where the stain doesn’t come out. A little touch of vanish and it’s gone.
Can you change the design?
Yes indeed. It’s a modular sofa and can be made to fit any space. We personally chose two seats and a chase long and adore the combination. But if we wanted to, we could remove or add any of the modules. So handy and a great touch if you want to personalise it!
Would you recommend it?
1000% yes. I am such a huge believer that affordable doesnt mean it looks cheap. I’ve had so many compliments on my sofa and am so impressed with the quality for the price of it. I would recommend it to anyone asking.
