I have always been a little afraid of over the knee boots. For a girl who HATES her legs, wearing boots that just completely shows off her thighs was a very daunting thought. But recently when I was out shopping with Alex, he pushed me to try on a pair and OH MY GOODNESS DID I FALL IN LOVE.
I feel like I always thought that the boots just suckered to your legs and made them look twice the size but this pair are more stiff on the top and aren’t completely skin tight (if that makes sense) and looks so flattering. The way that I have been wearing them initially is with tights.
Baby steps guys.
The way that I have been LOVING styling them is with a denim skirt and a chunky knit cardigan. This gorgeous berry/burgundy cardy is my fave thing at the moment (similar one HERE) and looks so cute with the boots! I love being able to style a more laid back look with the boots to make them more of a casual outfit and look a lot more wearable.

I feel like if you are like me and are a little scared of showing off your legs or styling over the knee boots, you defiantly need to invest in a pair and take the plungE! I can just tell that they are such a fashion piece this autumn and will continue to be in style time and time again.
