Lets just have a small chat about how FAB swimming costumes are. Heck, lets even have a small owed to them. Until last year, one pieces were NOT COOL. They were the complete opposite, in fact. They were seen as old lady-ish or professional swimmer-ish and, lets be honest, that is not something that you want to be swanning around in on the beach.
So when I was younger, I tried a hundred different bikini styles in a desperate way to keep up with trends but hide my jelly belly. I HATE my belly. Everyone has something that they hate about themselves, and for me, its ma belly. So prancing around in practically underwear which basically had a big sign saying LOOK AT MY PALE, FLABBY BELLY was not great for my confidence. And I tried ALL the costumes, I tried halter necks and triangle bikinis and high rise two pieces and tankinis. But they all just made me feel rubbish.
CUE MY OWED TO THE ONE PIECE.
Miraculously, one pieces have come into circulation and, as of last year, are now seen as cute. They are trendy and pretty and something that you can feel DAMN HAWT in. I know that swimwear isn’t exactly designed to make you feel sexy. Its no lingerie; its designed to keep you warm(ish) and covered in water and simply covers you when on holibobs. But DAMMIT we want to feel sexy. And highstreet stores are realising that. They are providing us with pretty pieces and lots of colours and it is FABBY.
